On the national level

Strengthening the network of members of local government by maintaining contacts, organizing conferences and issuing publications;

Giving information on drugs and drugs-related issues by compiling and issuing information, e.g. on the Internet;

Building and maintaining contacts, and cooperating with institutions like the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG), the Royal Netherlands Medical Society (KNMG), the Netherlands Institute of Mental Health and Addiction (Trimbos Instituut), universities, government ministries, political parties and interests groups of drug users;

Organizing meetings aimed at providing information and influencing drug policy. This involves developing practical proposals, in consultation with others;
 
On the international level
*


Maintaining contacts with members of the European Parliament and Encod, the European NGO Council on Drugs, which is a network of NGOs and citizens concerned with the impact of international drug policies;
*

Building contacts with organizations in Europe and the U.S. that are involved with the same issues;
*

Contributing to a world-wide cooperation of organizations promoting the decriminalisation of drugs.
